The Bible is the written Word of God. It is inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant and the only rule of faith and practice. (2 Tim 3:16)

There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matt 28:19)

The deity of Jesus Christ (Matt 3:17); His virgin birth (Matt 1:23); His sinless life (Heb 4:15); His miracles (John 2:11); His substitutionary and atoning death (Eph 1:7); His physical resurrection (Luke 24:39); His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19); His personal return to earth in power and glory. (Acts 1:11)

We were created in the image of God, male and female (Gen 1:27). The first man Adam and his wife Eve sinned and fell through disobedience, and the entire human race has been corrupted as a result of this fall. (Gen 3:1-24)

God has taken the initiative to save us from sin, by sending His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, to dwell among us, full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Jesus showed us and taught us who God really is and took our place to receive the penalty and judgement of sin, on Calvary’s Cross. (Rom 5:8)

The only means of being forgiven and cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the shed blood of Christ (Eph 1:7), and that only by God’s grace through faith alone are we saved and not by works. (Eph 2:8)

The absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation and the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (Rom 8:11)

The resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to eternal life, and those who are not to eternal punishment. (John 5:28-29)

We adhere to the Westminster Confession of Faith as a subordinate standard, read in light of the Declaratory Statement adopted by the Presbyterian Church of Australia in 1901.
