Women's ministry at St. Andrew's

Flourish Vision for 2023 and beyond - based on Ephesians 4:1-16

1. We seek for every woman at St Andrew’s to know that she is loved by Jesus and by His Church, and to be encouraged to love others.

-> So we provide care and nurture to women in the congregation through meals ministry, baby packs, prayer groups, and our WhatsApp group.

2. We seek for women at St Andrew’s to be encouraged in their faith, as a basis for unity with other women and the broader Church.

-> So we provide encouragement for women to live Godly lives and to be strengthened in their faith through our annual conferences, Bible studies, and quarterly events.

3. We seek for all to reach maturity in Christ – for those growing in Christ and those yet to follow Him.

-> So we provide opportunities to draw others to Jesus through our Ladies’ Coffee & Fellowship meetings, and through praying for and inviting non-Christians to our events.

The Flourish Committee consists of upto eight members.

The Committee meets monthly, seeking God to help us in supporting the women of the congregation. The Flourish committee seeks ways to help women of the congregation stay connected and supportive of one another and grow in their faith. Care & Nurture for women in the congregation

Meals Ministry

The Meals Ministry aims to provide meals for families in our congregation during times of sickness or hardship. Many women and men have donated meals to this ministry which have been a great blessing to all involved.

WhatsApp Group

The WhatsApp group aims to keep the women of our church connected via phone. In this space, we can share practical and prayer needs and encouragement. It is also the place where details of upcoming events will be provided. Please email your mobile number to flourish.standrews@gmail.com to be added to the group and download WhatsApp on your phone.

Prayer Groups

In the 2019 Flourish conference on the topic of prayer, we were encouraged to meet in small groups for regular prayer and encouragement. We currently have several small prayer groups that meet in person or via phone or video call. If you are not currently meeting with other women for prayer, we are able to assist you in forming a small group. If you are interested in joining or forming a small prayer group, please email us at flourish.standrews@gmail.com to express your interest.

Encouragement for women to live Godly lives & be strengthened in faith

Conference - 2026

This year, we will be hosting Women's Ministries Victoria's On the Road conference, "One Another". We will hear from Natalie Short on what it means to love one another, followed by workshops on Forgiving One Another, Encourage One Another or Be Humble to One Another.

It will be on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9.15am to 3pm.

Tickets this year are $35 for an uncatered ticket (tea & coffee included; BYO food), or $50 for a catered ticket.
