Supporting mission around the world

As a church, we have a local mission and are committed to supporting missionaries serving God around the world. Our missions committee meets regularly to pray and encourage our congregation in its missionary endeavours. We support members of our congregation engaged in local mission and those whom God has sent to be witnesses for Him overseas. In addition, our church prayerfully supports Café Care, International Mission to Jewish People (IMJP), Navsarjan Ministries, and various short-term missionary agencies.

LOCAL STREET MISSION

Each month we take the Gospel to our Clayton shopping centre, engaging with people, handing out tracts and Bibles in various languages. This mission is done in association with Navsarjan Ministries, led by one of our elders, Alex Christian and the Together 4 Clayton churches.

Motor Isaac Yat & Julia Tuom Bilieu

Motor Isaac Yat with his wife Julia and their two children, Mark & Samuel are serving God amongst Southern Sudanese refugees in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Southern Sudanese man, Isaac has a passion to bring the message of God's forgiveness and reconciliation to his people.

Rhys & Rhondda Hall

Based now in Castlemaine, Rhys & Rhondda Hall are long term Australian missionaries who have served with Pioneers and APWM for many years providing vital radio and literature ministry to the war-torn people of South Sudan.

Yousif Kunda & Vivian Ajawin

Yousif & Vivian are serving with APWM and completing their work with Global Recordings Network (GRN) while seeking a new door to bring Trauma Healing Ministry to many refugees from Sudan & South Sudan.

Short term missions

As a church we have supported a number of people from our congregation participating in short-term missions trips with groups such as the Maranatha Thailand Mission Awareness Tour, Schoolies Revolution, Power to Change and others.

APWM

We support many people serving around the world in partnership with the Australian Presbyterian World Mission (APWM).

International Mission to Jewish People (IMJP)

Formerly known as Christian Witness to Israel (CWI), we support International Mission to Jewish People in prayer and practical means to reach the Jewish people of Australia and the world with the message of the Gospel.
