St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Clayton was established in August 1950 as part of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and has continued to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Clayton community over the last 70 years. During this history there have been times of fruitful ministry as well as times when we have acknowledged our failure to present Jesus Christ faithfully through our lives and ministry.
In recent years, as part of the Presbyterian Church of Australia, the Lord has been drawing us back to his word to discover the rich blessing of following the teaching and example of Jesus Christ. We have been praying for biblical revival and have seen God working to restore many of the blessings of the Christian life in our congregation.
Looking to the future as part of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and the wider body of Christ in Clayton we are continuing to seek the Lord for growth in his grace. We believe the words of Paul, in Ephesians 4:1-16 provide an excellent vision for the development of godliness in our lives and witness.
We normally meet for worship each Sunday at 10am and 6pm in our church buildings on the corner of Clayton Road and Shandeau Avenue, Clayton [map]. Due to the current COVID-19 regulations, we have paused our regular meetings and instead provide online video recordings for you to join in with us at home.
Everyone is most welcome.
