The Bread of Life

The Bread of Life

John’s Gospel is a declaration of the love the apostle John has for Jesus because of the love Jesus has shown to him. John identifies Jesus with the God of the Old Testament, who as Ezekiel promised, would do all things for his people. Today we see Jesus offering himself to us as the Bread […]

John and the love that casts out fear

John and the love that casts out fear

Every Christian, every leader needs to understand the depth of God’s loves for them. For if they are to triumph over fear, and lead others into faith, they must know God’s perfect love.

Seeking the glory that comes from the only God

Seeking the glory that comes from the only God

I’ve been Redeemed!

I've been Redeemed!

This year the Passover and Easter coincide. The wonderful truth of the redemption God has provided in Jesus is seen beautifully in the life of Mary Magdalene. Her mind had been controlled by evil thoughts, but the risen Jesus set her completely free.

This is the man whom God delights to honour!

This is the man whom God delights to honour!

Palm Sunday reveals the heart of Jesus Christ, who in the midst of a crowd celebrating his arrival, is burdened to weep over Jerusalem. Jesus, like Mordecai in the Old Testament, has his eyes fixed on God rather than man. He is truly the man God delights to honour.
