Little children, keep yourselves from idols

Little children, keep yourselves from idols

This command is not restrictive, but protective, for as the New Testament reveals, behind idols is the activity of demons. I would sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you

I would sin against the Lord by failing to pray for you

This is wickedness

Jesus looks at us and loves us

Jesus looks at us and loves us

Your sins are forgiven for His name’s sake!

Your sins are forgiven for His name's sake!

God delights in freeing us from sin through the power of the cross of Jesus. If we stay in the fire, we will be cleansed and will burn for Jesus, spreading His love like a wildfire.

Lord, what about…?

Lord, what about...?

Jesus calls each of us to follow Him. However,  we can easily get distracted. Particularly, the idol of jealousy creeps into our lives and we begin to compare ourselves with others. Let us give up our jealousy, being nailed to the cross, and fix our eyes on Jesus, running the race He sets before each […]

Jesus said to him, ‘Feed my sheep’

Jesus said to him, 'Feed my sheep'

John tells us how Jesus restores his relationship with Simon Peter, demonstrating his love for him. His instructions to Peter flow out of this encounter, pointing to the need to love God’s people in order to feed them with heavenly food.
