God wants us to live in the fullness of the righteousness that He has given to us. When we are walking in the full righteousness of Jesus, we will be persecuted. But in this persecution, we can stand strong in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us hunger and thirst for righteousness. We need to look away from ourselves and look to Jesus. For it is only when we look to Him that we can be sure we are hungering for what is right. Those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled.

The way to glory is to be meek. Meekness is strength under control. It is a submissiveness to the rule of God in our lives and a lack of self-assertion. The promise given to those who are meek is that they will inherit the earth!

The Bible says that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. When our temple is crowded with sin, we are not free to be the people God has called us to be. Perhaps you need to ask Jesus to clear out your temple and make room for Him to take His rightful place.
