We are all looking for comfort at Christmas time, but as God’s people we have the greatest comfort available to us – the Holy Spirit. Jesus came at Christmas as the one who would “baptize … with the Holy Spirit.” (Mark 1:8).

Christmas is a reminder to us all that God’s heart is for us to be with Him and for Him to be with us. Jesus comes to remove the barrier of our sin. If we are willing to acknowledge that is our need, we can truly dwell with God.
